BWMH
BLACK WOMEN
in
MENTAL HEALTH

A thriving community for Black women in mental health. Connect, collaborate, and grow with a network of therapists, counselors, psychologists, and advocates dedicated to uplifting each other and transforming mental wellness.
Black Women in Mental Health (BWMH) was founded as a way to connect, support, and elevate Black women in the mental health field. Recognizing the need for a dedicated space where Black women professionals—therapists, counselors, psychologists, and social workers—could come together, BWMH was created to foster community, mentorship, and resource-sharing.

Our mission is to create a networking hub that amplifies the voices, experiences, and expertise of Black women in mental health. Whether through collaborative discussions, professional development, or wellness initiatives, BWMH serves as a space where members can feel seen, valued, and empowered in their work.

As a growing community, we are committed to:
✔ Encouraging peer support among Black women professionals.
✔ Providing access to research, resources, and networking opportunities.
✔ Advocating for mental health equity and representation.
✔ Hosting events and discussions to foster meaningful connections.

Join us as we build a stronger, more connected network of Black women in mental health.
